This is one of the best potato ricers we have seen – definately worth a few extra £’s as this is a kitchen utensil that will last for many years once purchased.

A unique design feature on the Gefu ricer is that the whole basket can easily be removed from the body of the ricer. This helps when cleaning, so even if you don’t have a dishwasher it is no hassle to get it sparkling clean after use. The extended hinge on the end of the ricer works as a handy pan rest – whether this is an intentinal feature of the design or not we don’t know… it just works!

Gefu advertise this ricer as being "Suitable for use with a variety of vegetables & fruit" and the design and fairly large capacity ensures there is no problem adding fruit to make purees. It also has the strength to cope easily with a range of differnt fruit and veg.
